Here you can see Famagusta, the Ghost Town of Cyprus, with its neglected hotels, residential homes and its destroyed lemon trees and farmland. You can also see in the distance the beautiful bay of Famagusta and the mountain range of Pentathaktilos.
Cape Greko
National Park
Cape Greko is a national forest park and the picturesque headland that juts out from between Ayia Napa and Protaras. The views are amazing and it has to be one of the best places to watch the sun set over the Mediterranean. As you sit and gaze over the bay, lizards perch on nearby rocks and flowers are strewn over the landscape. It offers a wide range of activities including cycling, riding, climbing, air sports, hiking and bird spotting.
Zenobia Wreck av
In Larnaca Bay lies an incredible sight, an underwater wreck of mass proportions and a diver’s dream. Forty two metres down rests the 172m long MV Zenobia, a ferry that sank in 1980 with her full cargo. It is considered one of the top ten dives in the world.

In the towns near Protaras, Ayia Napa and Paralimni there are many monasteries to visit. The Ayia Napa Monastery was constructed like a medieval castle. In Protaras there is the little church of Prophet Elias up on a hill 100 metres high. Climb the 300 steps and wonder at the breath-taking panoramic view of Protaras. Visit the tiny church of Prophet Elias while there.
